Admitted to the bar in 1966, he is a long-standing member of the Family Law Sections of both the American and Connecticut Bar Associations. He is past chairman of the Family Relations Committee of the Hartford County Bar Association, and serves as a Special Master for the Hartford  and New Britain Family Courts. As a past president of the Connecticut Council of Divorce and Family Mediators and a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, he has been a practicing mediator for more then 23 years. Mr. Frauenglass has also lectured extensively on the legal and psychological aspects of divorce and custody issues and has been featured in local radio and television broadcast interviews.
